Israeli ceasefires are always “You cease; we fire.”

Thank you Owen. The perpetrators of this horror as well as the politicians and media who try to cover it up must be brought to justice.

Colossal moral failure on the part of the US in particular but also of the UK. Netanyahu could have been stopped at a stroke by turning off the money and the arms shipments.

It continues, as ever, to their disgrace and dishonour and the shame of their nation's history, despite the fact that the majority of the Jewish nation do not support this horror.

I'm afraid you are wrong there Liz. All the opinion polls show that the vast majority of Israelis support this slaughter and a smaller number even say it hasn't gone far enough. Check out Owen's article of 24th May - Half of Israelis support exterminating all Palestinians

For Israel this ceasefire was only ever a temporary ' pause' in the Genocide.

If Israel can get away with killing over 100 Palestinians, 44 of them children, with targeted strike on residential building, no warning, knowing rescue of those buried will be by hand only, and the injured will be taken to overwhelmed, barely functioning hospitals, we know there is no ceasefire., just a pause in the Genocide. What we see is another war crime committed with impunity.

Described as skirmish . A justified response to killing of three Israeli soldiers, in unclear circumstances, no independent journalists allowed, mirrors horrors of last two years. Absolute devaluation of Palestinian humanity and their right to life.
