So true Owen. The massacre of defenceless civilians, of children, of people going about their lives and celebrating their culture and religion, is exactly what pro-Palestine rallies have been protesting against. You can only see it otherwise if you think some people are less than human and their deaths don't matter. Thank you for your brave work.

Dale Vince made a valid observation about PM Netanyahu's intervention from Israel about atrocity in Bondi Beach, Australia, where innocent people , and a child, were killed in a targeted anti -semitic attack on Australian Jewish community. DV, in dismissing Netanyahu for attributing rise in anti-semitism in Oz to Australia Govt decision to formally recognise the State of Palestine , joining over 140 other countries , including UK and France, suggesting, rather , that indicted war criminal, Israel PM's rhetoric, military conduct of war on Gaza might, equally , have something to do with phenomenon of anti-Israelism .

Netanyahu spent decades carefully conflating anti-semitism with any criticism of Israel's action and military conduct in Occupied territories of Gaza , West Bank . So no surprise, Netanyahu once again confirmed that the only objection to violence that counts is when it is used against those Israel 'has deemed as ' human' , - an objection which, per se, never extends to Palestinians , Arab, Muslim, their dehumanization is presumed baked-in , 'in the bag' as far as Western media is concerned. Nauseating hypocrisy that has tolerated and allowed one of the most 'abominable humanitarian catastrophes' in modern times, a 21st century Genocide, to be filmed and live streamed by victims. The catastrophe continues.

To pretend this has not impacted how Israel is perceived is of itself a form of complicity in silencing truth .
