You're right that the despicable Starmer will be whipping up Islamophobia and anti-Green sentiment. But looks on the bright side, it won't be for long. He'll be out of the job after the May elections. And good riddance to the worst PM we've ever had, and there have been some absolute weapons-grade arseholes he's beating to that prize!!

Came here to say the same. What a sad loser, literally.

Starmer places himself in the middle between 'left' and 'right'. He's lying. The 'middle' is way off to the left of the present genocide supporting Labour Party.

'The Shekels!' Starmer has allegedly accepted more freebies for the privilege of being Israel's Prime Minister of Great Britain than any other Prime Minister. Not even the Blairs (allegedly) grabbed more. I don't know why (if it is even true) I find this proposition so despicably disgusting. Perhaps because naked greed explains everything? A politician - I forget what percentage of the Labour front bench has accepted money from the religitard Israel lobby, but it's embarrassingly huge - who is always going 'what's in it for me?' - is self-evidently putting their electorate behind themselves.

You do have to wonder who’s advising Starmer or is he making all this crap up on his own? Earlier in the week I had a thought about how Labour could help defeat Reform and come out smelling of roses. They could have urged their voters to swallow their pride, vote Green and thoroughly trounce Reform. With a few thousand more votes coming from Labour supporters in favour of Hannah Spencer, Reform would have come out of it looking even weaker, a very poor second, and Labour would have looked the bigger ‘person’ if you will. Instead, Labour have come across as floundering, flailing about, still with no clear vision and alienating even more people, if that’s possible. I’m delighted that the Greens have neither seat. With an additional MP you do have to wonder whether Zac Polanski will get any more air time the way Farage is everywhere. In the meantime, I’m just going to enjoy this ray of hope from Gorton and Denton.

Thank you, Owen, for your lucid analysis. It's dispiriting to see Labor go so low, but encouraging that people are now willing to vote for parties whose platforms pay attention to their needs, to our needs, to the urgent need to pay attention to global warming, climate change.

Brexit has revealed that the job of PM needs a non-existent superhuman. Time to face facts: the British political governance system is a failure. Accept that and we can start to think about how to replace it. The present system is only concerned with protecting the etablishment. See spartklingbooks.com/rd.html

Who is the shave-headed news goon? Has no-one told the cretin that the 'beheaded baby' lie has been exposed as abject Israeli propaganda? Has no-one told the cretin that Israel merrily blew up and burnt its own people with such rockets and bombs as Hamas never had, then hid behind the lie that it was all a freedom fighter atrocity? Has no-one told the cretin that, anyway, even if an atrocity has been committed, it does not justify the committing of a host of others? What a nasty, savage, hate-filled fool. What an awful example of humanity, how dare any tv channel give such a bigot airtime. What a twat. And 'The Shekels!' Starmer's no better. Accusing a political party of 'cheating' because it talks about subjects its voters care about misses the entire point of democracy. Reassuring voters that a party stands for what they stand for is what elections are supposed to provide the opportunity to do. That all the other parties are enthusiastic supporters of a religitard supremacist genocide and illegal land grab, and so can only assure voters that they stand for bullying, racism and rancid inhumanity, does not make the Green Party cheats, it makes the other parties grotesquely guilty of misjudging what their people hold important. Britons have proved again and again, in the face of shameful police brutality, that they would rather go to prison than support the notion that racist scumbags have a right to steal land because their gormless religious superstition makes them 'better' than everyone else. That 'everyone else' is a subhuman animal, fit only to be robbed, abused, starved and tortured without qualm. That news programs still deliberately provide a platform for paid goons who are eager to promote the nonsense that any political party that reflects its voters' ideas and aspirations is somehow 'cheating', whilst at the same time promoting utterly debunked atrocity propaganda to justify genocide, is shameful, disgusting, and serves no-one besides racists, bigots and despicable religitards. That the Labour party has for its leader a genocide supporting racist who seems to believe any party is 'cheating' if it reflects the standards of its electorate says everything anyone might need to know about how to make a party so irrelevant it becomes revolting. Labour supports and enables a brutal religitard genocide. It matters. So did - besides the Greens - every other political party. It will take decent people a long time to forget. Until then, any claim that any party - besides the Greens - stands for decency, humanity, civilisation, or anyone who might be in any way an underdog, deserves to be dismissed with contempt.
