Here's hoping for a united campaign behind Polanski. The big mistake would be to campaign as a slightly to the left of Labour position. People are looking for a real alternative. He needs to shout about the cost of living, rents, NHS etc but he also needs to confront the media consensus. He must be brazenly against the war on Russia and Iran; against Britain's role in supporting Israel and the ban on Palestine Action. There are definitely quests out the Zionist influence in the Green Party. They filibustered conference and got Tony Greenstein expelled. That shows how influential they are. They should push through the motion that Zionism is racist and expel any member that supports Israel. They destroyed Corbyn and they'll destroy Polanski if he doesn't deal with them.

Not least from those 'inside' established political parties. An effective Leader as Zack Polanski, with solid strategic policies will terrify those most invested in keeping the status quo. Focused as they are on cost of living, rents, housing ,all interlinked with billionaire Epstein class influence, lobby groups pushing fossil fuels while our natural resources/ environment, from our water to the air we breath, are permanently destroyed. Andy Burnham is a swap at the top of a corporate Labour Party , their economics are fenced in, fiscal rules will determine priorities- cost of living will keep being number one issue.

Zack Polanski has not yet been officially selected, but he has formally announced his intention to seek selection. There's a difference.
Personally, as a green party supporter/member I'd prefer him to stay as Leader but not an MP. I think that in his current role he is far too valuable and effective at promoting the Green PArty and becoming an MP would dilute his energy.
The conundrum is if he doesn’t stand then Labour will call him out as weak and a coward, but if he loses badly, does not that put his leadership at risk?
I think that provided he runs a good campaign, then the party would see that it was external circumstances (primarily the Burnham bounce) that prevented us doing well.
So far Andy Bernham has said and done a few good things, but mostly just superficial. If you really want change by voting a green in this bi election you are sending a message that more people than not want a free caring greener healthier future for more than just the few. While they have the wealth and power the majority have the votes and if you also have the courage, with and intelligence to use this collectively, you may just bring that about. Like all people opportunity and hope for a better future means taking a chance. I am not British, just on holiday visiting my son, and this country is great, but it could be so much better. But by the way your water is terrible, something so fundamental and essential as water indicates to me something is not right.

Most people see Polanski as completely Dagenham, which is several stops beyond Barking. This will put off many voters.
